Formerly twin cowsheds Freds shed has been lovingly converted by its owners to create a spacious barn retaining many of its beautiful original features and has an eclectic mix of old and new with a rustic charm.

Freds Shed is attached to the owner’s barn but it has its own private entrance and parking.

Freds Shed is dog friendly – but please do contact Paul or Sarah-Jayne prior to submitting a booking.

Freds Shed sleeps 4 people in 2 double beds so it may not be suitable for young children.

I’m afraid we cannot supply cots or high-chairs.

Your hosts, Paul and Sarah-Jayne Jacobs .

Freds Shed was named after a stray cat took refuge there and decided to call it home for eight years. He  was feral but over time he became loving and tame and was content to live in the cowsheds rather than coming to our house. Sadly one day he disappeared but Freds Shed will always be a happy memory of him.
